Non-Trucking Liability

Non-Trucking Liability

Non-Trucking Liability is a form of liability coverage for truckers when their primary liability policy is carried by another entity. Non-Trucking liability covers the vehicle when the insured isn’t working for an employer and are driving with an empty trailer, or no trailer at all.
WHO NEEDS THIS KIND OF INSURANCE?
Owner/Operators under permanent lease to a motor carrier providing primary auto liability coverage.
It does not provide coverage for the operation of motor vehicles, but it does cover “mobile equipment” (ie: forklifts, tractors, cranes, etc…)
Anyone hauling for others needing to protect the value of the loads. Can also be purchased for the coverage of owned goods
